MORE than £14,000 has been raised for a charity which helps residents across South Essex.
NU Living, which is an in-house contractor and developer for housebuilder Swan Housing, held a charity ball for the Swan Foundation.
The housebuilders charity works with people who live in or close to homes managed, built and supported by Swan to help them progress with employment and take on opportunities.
The money raised at the Greenwoods Hotel and Spa event will help the foundation enhance its programme to deliver projects and initiatives to help young people into employment and apprenticeships.
Geoff Pearce, from NU living thanked everyone who attended and added: “The Foundation does great work and we are keen to support their efforts.
"I’m thrilled that we were able to beat last year’s fundraising total and I’m looking forward to seeing how the Foundation supports the apprentices using the money raised, as well as exploring further ways NU living can support the Foundation in the future.”
