Council trials new street cleaning machines to improve town
THURROCK Council is testing equipment new to the borough in a continued bid to keep Thurrock tidy.
The three month pilot will see industrial-strength cleaning machines being put through their paces.
The machines are being trialled to reduce operation time without compromising results to save time.
Two machines are being tested. A Maxwind electric sweeper – an electric mechanical sweeper and a Glutton electric max vacuum. The pilot is running in Grays Town Centre until February.
