Temperatures across south Essex are set to dip over the weekend, with it feeling like minus 1 over the weekend.
Luckily, the East of England looks as though it will avoid the weather warnings in the north and west of the country due to dangerous icy conditions.
It also looks as though south Essex will miss out on snow next week.
Interesting model output this evening and latest Met Office medium range forecast is rather cold and snowy. Next week will certainly feel like winter but best not dust off the sledge yet :-)

Although the mercury will be at six degrees over the weekend, it is likely to feel more than minus two overnight, and barely getting any warmer during the night.
Temperatures will rise slightly on Monday to an average of nine degrees - although this will feel closer to five degrees - but rain is expected for most of the day.
It will be time to get out the hats and gloves once again as the temperature falls to six degrees, which will feel more like two degrees.
We are also in for some cold nights next week.
