A MEMORIAL walk has been organised in support of a murdered mother.

Tina Cantello, 49, was on her way to the last of three door-to-door collection jobs when she disappeared last Friday evening.

Her body was found in a house about two miles from where her family believe she was last seen and a mile from where her mobile phone was recovered.

The mum-of-three, who worked as a debt collector for Provident, was a hugely popular figure in the local community.

Friends Charlotte Randall and Cheryl Fedelmesi have organised a memory walk to take place on Friday at 7pm.

Cheryl said: “We are doing her journey back home that unfortunately she couldn’t do herself.

“The response we have had from people already has been really touching and feel it would be lovely if everyone could join in as a community, showing their love and respect.

“My two daughters and son and partner are also coming to show their respect for Tina so anyone is welcome.

“We have asked for a £5 donation to go to Tina’s family however I am aware that not everyone can afford this so any donation will be extremely grateful.

“I want to thank everyone who have said they are already coming next Friday.”

It will start at Tesco in Langdon Hills and will travel two miles to her house in Holst Avenue, Laindon, where we can lay flowers.

More than £6,000 has already been donated, which will be given to her family to help ease any financial worries at this tragic time for them.

Hundreds of tributes have been paid to her.

Husband, Steve Cantello, said: “I would like to thank everybody for the love and support in these hard times.

“Your generosity is truly overwhelming.”
