Sadler wants his side to show their passion
LITTLE Oakley joint-boss Paul Sadler is confident his players will rediscover their passion in tomorrow’s derby at home to Harwich and Parkeston.
The men from the Memorial Ground have made a poor start to the Kent Blaxill Essex and Suffolk Border League season, heavily losing their first three games and leaking 15 goals.
Sadler admits his players have “lacked a bit of hunger” in the opening weeks of the premier division campaign.
But he is confident normal service will be resumed against the high-flying Shrimpers.
“I’m sure the passion will be there tomorrow – and if it isn’t then we really do have a problem,” said Sadler, who runs the team in tandem with Sean Tynan.
“That will be crucial because form goes out of the window in these derby matches.
“It’s about whoever wants it more and whoever puts the most effort in.
“That’s what we’ll be drumming into the boys."
