HARWICH and Parkeston’s Matt Carmichael is a very satisfied man.
The Shrimpers manager was extremely pleased with last week’s 1-0 victory over Gas Recreation and hopes to continue their fine run of form.
Harwich are currently sitting top of the Essex and Suffolk Border League premier division and tomorrow play host to Lawford Lads, who are at the opposite end of the table.
However, Carmichael said there would be no complacency when the teams meet at the weekend.
He said: “We are not getting carried away.
“If we turn up with the right attitude and perform as we have been, I’m sure we can get a positive result.
“We have had a couple of slip-ups, with a draw and defeat, but hopefully we can continue the way we have been.”
