LITTLE Oakley joint manager Paul Sadler was very satisfied with his team’s result against Earls Colne.

Oakley ran out comfortable 3-1 winners in their home game in the Kent Blaxill Essex and Suffolk Border League premier division game last weekend.

They produced an impressive performance against Earls Colne and Sadler is pleased with their recent form.

Sadler said: “We dominated the first half and played some very good football.

“In the second half, maybe we eased up a little bit but I don’t think that we were ever in danger of losing the game.

“The pleasing thing was the performance – I thought that we played with energy and passion, something that maybe we haven’t always done this season.

“But over the last few weeks I think our performances have been brilliant.

“We freshened up the side for the game last Saturday and it seemed to work.”

Oakley do not have a game this weekend.
