HARWICH boxers were in sparkling form at their club’s winter show.
They gained five victories from six bouts, during the event at Park Pavilion.
And head coach Martin Webb said it was a memorable night for his Harwich Amateur Boxing Club aces.
He said: “I was really pleased with five wins from six bouts, at our home tournament.
“We spend so much of the season on the road, so it’s nice to come home and showcase our team’s skills to the local community.
“I was particularly pleased with experienced boxers Pat Allen Cripps and Ryan Frost.
“However, equally impressive was the fact we showed strength in depth, with three wins coming from our novice juniors.”
