HARWICH and Parkeston boss Matt Carmichael has revealed that three of his players have rejected offers to move up the non-league pyramid.
Matt Stace, Darren Bethell and Jordan Heath all received approaches from Thurlow Nunn League premier division side Stanway Rovers, in the final weeks of 2013.
However, all three have decided to stay at the Royal Oak.
“They’ve really bought into what we’re trying to do,” said manager Carmichael.
“They, like me, can see so much potential here.”
Harwich get back in Kent Blaxill Essex and Suffolk Border League premier division action tomorrow, at home to White Notley.
