HARWICH and Dovercourt Rugby Club skipper Joe Francis wants his players to stand up and be counted.
The Tendring side are second-from-bottom in Eastern Counties League division one, ahead of tomorrow’s match at home to Swaffham.
After that they have just seven games left to avoid falling through the trapdoor into division two.
“We need to pick up points however and wherever we can,” said Francis.
“It’s time to fight off relegation and we need to give a better account of ourselves than we managed in the away game at Swaffham.
“We self-destructed that day, but they were superb.”
