HARWICH and Dovercourt Rugby Club need at least one more victory to avoid the dreaded drop.
That’s the view of skipper Joe Francis, heading into tomorrow’s Eastern Counties League division one showdown at home to Ely.
Harwich have 21 points and lie third from bottom – eight points above basement boys Broadland and two above Norwich Crusaders.
“We must win at least one more game to avoid the drop,” said Francis, whose side were without a game last Saturday.
“We’ve got two big matches coming up, tomorrow and then Crusaders away next Saturday.
“And it’s going to be interesting to see how the players react."
