YOUNGSTERS pounded the pool during a primary school swimming gala.
And it was Harwich’s Two Village, coached by Emma Barker, who stormed to victory, reclaiming the title they won last year and finishing first with 133 points.
Harwich Community were second, with 85, St Joseph’s third, with 84, and Chase Lane fourth, with 79.
Two Village headteacher Kay Wills said: “I would like to thank Emma and the Two Village swimmers for their dedication and hard work preparing for the gala.
“They are great ambassadors for our school and I’m very proud of them all.”
The event was held at Dovercourt swimming pool, well organised by Harvey Tomlin and sponsored by Tendring District Council.
