HARWICH Rangers were defeated in the Acorn Charity Shield.

They lost 3-0 against Langham Lodgers in the final, played at Brantham Athletic.

Man-of-the-match Calvin Firkins gave Langham the lead from the penalty spot, after just seven minutes, before James Whitnell’s lob made it 2-0.

Ryan Smart fired a penalty wide for Harwich with 15 minutes to go, before Asten Firkins’ header rounded off Langham’s win.
