BRANTHAM Athletic have been drawn at home to Hertfordshire side Codicote in the extra preliminary round of the FA Cup.
And if they are successful against the Spartan South Midlands League side, they already know they will face a preliminary round match at home to Tilbury.
The draws for the early rounds of next season’s FA Cup and Vase were made at Wembley Stadium on Friday morning The extra preliminary round of the cup will take place on the second Saturday of the new campaign, August 16, and the winners will each pocket £1,500.
The preliminary round takes place on August 30 and the winners will collect £1,925.
Brantham have been given a bye to the second-round proper of the Vase, as a reward for last season’s excellent run to the last 32.
Meanwhile, the new Thurlow Nunn League premier division fixtures were released on Wednesday.
Brantham start with a trip to Mildenhall, on Saturday, August 9.
