HARWICH and Dovercourt Cricket Club have banished their relegation fears – and now have one eye on promotion.
The Low Road side have hit form at a pivotal time in the Marshall Hatchick Two Counties Championship season.
They have won their last three division five games, most recently last weekend’s 33-run success at home to Kelvedon and Feering.
And after hoisting themselves into mid-table, they still have a chance of going up. “That has to be our aim now,” said upbeat skipper Tommy Armstrong, whose side visit Witham tomorrow.
