HARWICH and Parkeston have continued their rebuilding project by signing two players from neighbours Little Oakley.
Ashley Wood and Martin Warnes have joined and made impressive debuts in Saturday’s 4-0 victory against Barnston Reserves.
Wood was among the scorers and it helped the club get back to winning ways, in front of another impressive crowd of around 100.
Afterwards chairman Tony Armstrong sung the praises of both new recruits – plus hard-working management duo John Fidgett and Mark Sharp. “Both these new additions will prove very useful acquisitions,” he said.
“It’s a fitting reward for all the effort our managers have put in that quality players are still coming over to help us through our difficult times."
