IND Coope A go marching on at the top of the Harwich Men’s League.

They have now won eight out of eight in the A division, with their most recent success being a 6-2 victory against US Club.

The Coope have opened a 13-point lead over second-placed team Squirrels, who also won 6-2, home to the Cricket Club.

The Squirrels’ Stu Petre scored two 180s, bringing his total to three and drawing him level with Alan Collins, of Ind Coope.

Little Oakley beat Hanover B 6-2 and Marcus Smith had a 107 shot-out.

Robbie Balaam, for Hanover B, scored 177.

Ind Coope B were 4-2 up but Hanover’s Aaron Munson and Matt Good won the last two singles games to force a draw.

In the B division, leaders Cherry Tree had a comfortable win over Shakers.

The Cherries’ Keith Abbott scored 180.

Golf Club moved up to second after their 6-3 home win over R/A Club.

Trafalgar were too strong for Shrimpers as the Traf ran out 6-3 winners over Shrimpers.

Royal made it two wins on the trot as they beat Little Oakley B 7-2, while Royal Oak beat the Flag 6-3.

Globe’s Matt Youngs won the last game to turn a 5-4 win over Luney Club.

Dan Fox, for Trafalgar, had a 114 shot-out and B Glover a 15-darter for Luney Club.
