NON-LEAGUE pair FC Clacton and Brantham Athletic have issued appeals for help in clearing their pitches of snow - in the hope their scheduled games can go ahead this afternoon.

The Seasiders are due to host Ipswich Wanderers in what will be their first home game since November 29.

Brantham, meanwhile, are set to entertain Diss Town in Paul Skingley's first game since being appointed Imps manager.

Today's wintry weather has left both fixtures in doubt.

However, both clubs have issued appeals for help from their supporters.

Anyone able to lend a hand is encouraged to bring a broom and pitchfork.
