ST JOSEPH’S Catholic Primary School proved a class act by winning a football tournament.
They beat Chase Lane’s C team 6-2, in the small school’s B final, played at Harwich and Parkeston’s Royal Oak.
Both teams fought hard and were proud to be representing their schools in front of a good crowd.
St Joseph’s managed to gain the upper hand, though, with man-of-the-match Michael Keeley grabbing a hat-trick, with good support from the rest of the team.
St Joseph’s sat back on their lead, allowing Chase Lane two deserved goals, before scoring three more well-worked goals of their own to run out 6-2 winners.
