THERE were victories for the top three teams in the Harwich Men’s League A division.
Jonjo Thorpe was Services’ only winner at home to top team Ind Coope A.
Coope’s Gavin Johnson scored a ton finish, as they had a comfortable 7-1 win.
Second-placed Squirrels’ Steve Mixter won the last game to ensure a 5-3 win over the Cricket Club.
Hanover A also won 5-3, away to Ind Coope B.
For Coope B, Colin Goodey had a 101 shot-out and Hanover’s Aaron Munson a 100 finish.
Little Oakley made it two wins on the trot as they beat Hanover B, on their own patch.
In the B division, Trafalgar’s 8-1 win at the Luney Club took them to the top of the table after Ships and Cherry Tree both suffered defeats.
Ships lost at home to mid-table Royal Oak and Cherry Tree were defeated by the Royal.
Elsewhere in the division, there was a win for Flag as they beat Shakers 5-4.
Globe won the first seven games at the Oakley Club B.
Shrimpers’ Pete Rodger had a 13-darter in his team’s 6-3 win at the R/A Club.
In Trafalgar’s 8-1 win, Dan Fox recorded the lowest shot-out with an 11-darter (401), while team-mate Steve Barratt had a 114 finish.
Other scores saw Royal’s Alan Scurrell with a 15-darter and Aaron Rudkin a 14-darter.
Nick Lawrie, of the Ships, had a 14-darter while the best of the week was Stu Elmer, of the Royal Oak, who had a 138 finish, 12 and 15-dart finishes.
