THE Constable League’s Knockout Cup division one final was won by the Skinners Arms A team.
It was the tenth consecutive year they have won the competition.
They prevailed in this year’s final thanks to a 6-3 success against Crown A.
After being 2-1 down, they won four consecutive games to secure victory.
Top-scorers for Skinners Arms A: Mick Chambers 140 and 125, Paul Amoss, Peter Barton and Mervyn Easey 140. Top-scorers for Crown A: Jenny Bird 140 and 121, John Baines and Robert Cole 140, Chris Moncur 121x2 and 14-dart leg.
The division two final was won by the newly-elected Kings Head, beating the Royal Oak 5-4.
After being 4-1 up, it was left to captain Mick Butcher to win the last game 2-1.
Top-scorers for the Kings Head: Trevor Church 140 and 107 finish, Alan Hinton 140. Top-scorers for the Royal Oak: Stewart Jemmison 125, John Hynes 121.
