THERE was a good turnout for the combined high/low handicap ladies’ Easter greensomes, at Harwich and Dovercourt Golf Club.
Competing for the Barbara Crawshaw Trophy, Pauline Rowe and Carol Wrayton were worthy winners with a score of 32 points.
They just pipped second-placed Jean Roe and Sue Keen, by one point.
Meanwhile, Harwich’s Mail on Sunday team bowed out of the national knockout competition, losing away to Frinton.
