Oakley reserves setting their sights on a cup final
LITTLE Oakley’s reserves will be hoping to cement their place in a cup final tomorrow.
The team are preparing for a Tommy Thompson Knockout Cup semi-final at home to their counterparts from Gas Recreation.
The other semi-final, also being played tomorrow, is between Alresford Colne Rangers Reserves and West Bergholt Reserves.
Oakley’s first team have no match tomorrow, due to the Essex and Suffolk Border League representative side playing an FA Carlsberg Inter League System Cup match against the Suffolk and Ipswich League.
Nicky Palmer, Mark Palmer and Jamie Dobkin have all been selected for the Border League team.
