Third place for Baalham
LORRAINE Baalham produced her best-ever performance to finish third in the first round of the Corporate Cadet League, at Ellough Park, in Beccles.
The ten-year-old, from Harwich, competed in three heats and gained enough points to start eighth on the grid in the A final.
In the final, she picked off her rivals one by one and ended up finishing in third place, out of 13.
This put her on the podium for the first time in her young racing career.
Lorraine is a pupil at Mayflower Primary School.
