Harwich planning to enter second team
HARWICH and Dovercourt Hockey Club plan to enter a second team in next season’s Suffolk Women’s League.
They finished second in the premier division last term and now, having been working hard to promote ladies’ hockey and junior training, they plan to enter a second side in division one in 2015/16.
“As a club, we now feel in a position to make this move and want to inspire new players to take up the sport,” said captain Sophie Southgate.
