SIX Harwich Runners joined 396 competitors in the second race of the Friday Five Series.
The event at Kirton – a predominately flat, fast course – was organised by Felixstowe Road Runners.
After a day of heavy rain, the weather improved for the 7.30pm start.
The first Harwich Runner home was Rob Reason, who just missed out on a top-three finish, coming home fourth in 27 minutes and 57 seconds.
This is a repeat of last year, when he also finished fourth in 27m 25s.
