HARWICH and Dovercourt Cricket Club skipper Sam Felgate still believes his team can beat anyone on their day.
The Low Road side have stuttered in recent weeks but bounced back to winning ways following last weekend’s 39-run win at home to Stowmarket.
Next up they face another tricky match at in-form Maldon – two places above them in division five of the Marshall Hatchick Two Counties Championship.
However, Felgate insists his side will travel in good heart and are capable of putting a run together in the coming weeks.
“We hadn’t won for several weeks and it was a huge win for us,” said the Harwich captain.
“It gives us something to take to Maldon.
“They have won five out of seven and are a decent side.
“Unfortunately, availability has once again proved our downfall this year as it hasn’t allowed us to get into any sort of rhythm.
“But we’re still in good spirits and know we can beat any side on our day."
