Marsh and Payne gain silverware
THE Tendring District Summer League held its second open competition at Clacton Railway Club.
In the league doubles, David Marsh and Gavin Payne (Double Trouble) won through a strong field to clinch the title against the highly-experienced Karl Mullenger and partner Mark Henry (The Red Lion).
In the Secretaries’ Cup, Alan Currivan defeated Karl Mullenger (The Red Lion) 2-1 to win the competition he previously won in 2013.
