HARWICH’S up and down season was dealt another blow on their visit to Walsham le Willows.
Previously, two back-to-back wins had lifted them up the Marshall Hatchick Two Counties Cricket Championship division five table.
The home side had set a fair but reachable target of 197 for Harwich to catch.
Nev Marthur’s best efforts for Harwich had kept that score down, taking three wickets.
However, it was Harwich’s batting that would let them down.
The highest scorer with the bat was Sam Good with 18 runs.
Walsham’s best bowlers were Mark Rothon, who took six wickets, and Ashley Forbes, with a further three, as Harwich could only muster 113 runs.
