Harwich and Dovercourt Indoor Bowls Club
HARWICH and Dovercourt Indoor Bowls Club played host to Dovercourt and won by 117 shots to 76.
They won on five of the six rinks, with only the rink skipped by Pam Bloom managing to secure victory for Dovercourt, winning by 11 shots.
On rink two, the team skipped by Michael Reeder, with Jean Reeder and John Pepperell, won by three shots.
The rink skipped by captain Ian Love was pushed hard until the 14th end but finally pulled away to win by nine shots.
The other rinks were very one-sided, with Harwich winning all three quite comfortably.
The best result of the day was achieved by the rink skipped by Sandy Mooney, with Mike King and Tony Watson, who won comfortably by 23 shots.
