Tynan: so much to play for in 2016
LITTLE Oakley are ready to fire on all fronts in 2016, according to upbeat joint-manager Sean Tynan.
The Acorns are seventh in the Essex and Suffolk Border League premier division, after Saturday’s 0-0 draw at home to Gas Recreation.
In addition, they are also looking forward to tomorrow’s Knockout Cup quarter-final at home to Coggeshall Town.
And the following weekend, they have an Essex Premier Cup fourth-round tie at home to Shenfield Association.
“It’s exciting and great to have so much to play for,” said Tynan, who runs the side with Paul Sadler.
“It’s horrible when that’s not the case – when you’re not doing anything in the league and out of the cups."
