THE Royal Oak have won the Harwich Men’s League’s B division.

After winning their last game of the season, they pipped Rangers by two points, with the Ships finishing third.

Royal Oak, Rangers and Ships all had 6-3 wins.

In the A division, already won by Ind Coope A, the champions beat Squirrels in their last game, 7-2.

Squirrels’ Mick Parkin scored a 180 and Coope’s Paul Amoss had a 109 shot-out.

Trafalgar have finished in third place but lost 7-2 at home to Hanover A.

Hanover’s Matt Good scored a 180 - his fifth of the season - while Kevin Cook scored a 180.

Steve Arden had a 107 shot-out and Traf’s Shaun Fox scored a 180 - his 11th of the season to win the A division 180s trophy.

Martin Heath, from the Cricket Club, scored a 180 in his team’s 7-2 win at United Services Club.

He finished with ten 180s.

Hanover B finished their season with a win 5-4 over Maybush, who have had a good season, while Little Oakley won at the Golfers, 6-3.

In the B division, the most wins were accumulated by Lloyd Smith, from the Flag, who triumphed in 18 of his 19 matches.

The most wins in the A division came from Hanover’s Alan Mathieson, who also won 18 out of 19.

Ind Coope’s Paul Amoss has the highest shot-out, with 170, and the least darts in a 12-dart leg.

Shakers’ Lee Knight scored a 180 in his team’s last league game to win the B division’s most 180s, with a total of five.

Other notable scores came from Darren Marshall (Shakers) 180, Barry Glover (Luney Club) 120 shot-out, Rangers’ Terry McBurney 180, Phil Armstrong 101 shot-out and Dave Kempen 124 and 106 shot-outs and 15-dart leg.

Cherry Tree’s Bob Taylor had 116 and 100 finishes, while Flag’s John Duly had a 111 shot-out.
