FOR the second week running, Oakley demolished their opponents at the Memorial Ground.

They started at a quick tempo and it wasn't long before the goals started flowing.

An early effort was cleared off the line by Knight, from a Lewis Wood volley.

Then, soon after, Liam Duly, in space, tested Hurst in the Peverel goal.

Oakley opened the scoring when Wood's long ball out of defence was held up by Stephen Polley.

He played in Sam Eldridge, in acres of space, who was able to drill home for 1-0.

Three minutes later, a flowing move saw Mark Palmer wiped out in the area.

A penalty was awarded and Shaun Kioussis dispatched it with aplomb.

With Oakley camped in the visitors' half, goal number three was added after good work by Trevor Lewis.

Harassing the visiting defence into virtual submission, his efforts presented Tellurideh with the easiest of tap-ins.

A rare attempt to pull one back resulted in a lucky escape for Oakley.

A free header by Humpreys, from a cross by Fennell, went close, with keeper Luke Tynan rooted.

However, a fourth goal came from the next attack, when more good build-up between Eldridge and Lewis saw Duly, in space, score into the roof of the net.

Hurst, in the Peverel goal, kept out a header by Lewis after good overlapping by Polley .

However, Lewis headed straight at the keeper.

The final action of the half saw Ben Hammond clear off the line after a poor clearance.

It didn't take long in the second half for more goal action, when Rory Harman picked up a loose ball.

With Kioussis in space, he drilled the ball into the area for Eldridge to complete his hat-trick.

Hurst, again the busier of the keeper, parried an effort from Eldridge over the bar.

Eldridge then went close again, as another opportunity was spurned.

Next in line was Jamie Dobkin, but his effort was blocked.

With chances coming thick and fast, number six was added towards the end when Polley burst through to place the ball into the net.

Mark Palmer saw a late effort pushed on to the post as Oakley completed an emphatic win.

On Monday, Oakley had a re-run of the Reserve Knockout Cup final against West Bergholt, but this time in the Tommy Thompson Cup final.

However, a tight affair had to be abandoned due to a serious injury to Bergholt's Richard Green.

Oakley wish him a speedy recovery, with the game now being replayed on May 21.

Tomorrow sees the A team at home to Tiptree Jobserve (3pm) while the reserves travel to Mersea.

On Wednesday, Oakley's first team are at home to West Bergholt.
