FOURTEEN students from Dragon Martial Arts School were examined in the art of Kung Fu.
The day started with senior instructor Steven Whitehouse going for his third Dan.
His 25 years of training shone through and he passed with one of the highest marks the association has ever had.
Two father and son combinations tried to achieve second Dan status and they were Stephen and George Beesley and Glenn and Thomas Butler.
The highest first Dan pass mark went to Gary Rusby - one of the founder members of the club with 30 years' experience - and others to enjoy success were Paige Proctor, Jamie Zweck, Ellie Zweck, Andries Smit, Khalil Curtis, Safiya Curtis, Connor Cosgrove and James Firth.
