LITTLE Oakley A and Great Bentley's first team fought out an even and hard-fought 1-1 draw, in Essex and Suffolk Border League division two on Saturday.
The competitive nature of the game was indicative of their high positions in the league, with Bentley second and Oakley third.
Lewis Button drew first blood for the Acorns, after good work from midfielder Daryl Hinks.
Bentley then levelled just before half-time.
The second half saw the home team reduced to ten men, after a second yellow card for midfielder Ryan Smart.
However, there was no change to the final score, as it finished 1-1.
