THREE juniors from Harwich Boxing Club showed off their skills at a show in Sudbury.
Their star performer was 11-year-old debutant Leo Carty, who faced Centurions ABC puncher Tom Dickson.
The pair met in a skills contest.
Conceding age and experience, Carty took to his chosen sport like a duck to water with a neat display of boxing from distance, all to good effect.
Both boys received a deserved ovation at the end of this quality pairing.
It proved a tough day at the office for Stevie Martin and Cameron Walker, against respective Sudbury ABC opponents Jack Wiffen and Scott Stanard.
The Harwich boys had scored wins over their Sudbury counterparts last month, but history did not repeat itself as the Suffolk boxers raised their games to score tight points wins.
