MISTLEY Rugby Club held an end-of-season barbecue for their younger members, on Sunday.
There were also a series of presentations carried out by head of youth Simon Carter and chairman Percy Percival.
Beforehand, the Rotary Club of Manningtree Stour Valley kindly presented a cheque towards youth-team funds which was graciously accepted by the Mistley chairman.
Touch rugby sessions for all ages, together with walking rugby for over-50s, begin at Furze Hill tonight, from 6.30pm.
No experience is required and everyone, whether a member of the club or not, is most welcome.
The sessions will be held throughout the summer months.
