THE early rounds of this season's Thurlow Nunn League Challenge Cup have thrown up some intriguing north Essex derbies.
WIVENHOE TOWN will entertain HOLLAND FC in a second-round showdown at the newly-named GMP Plant Hire Stadium.
The sides will meet on Wednesday, November 1.
The previous night, October 31, FC CLACTON will play host to premier division new-boys COGGESHALL TOWN.
Elsewhere, STANWAY ROVERS have been drawn at home to either Hadleigh United or LITTLE OAKLEY.
The latter pair meet in a first-round contest on September 19.
BRANTHAM ATHLETIC or HALSTEAD TOWN will also meet in a first-round clash on September 19 and the prize for the winners will be a trip to Cornard United.
BRAINTREE TOWN RESERVES have been handed a second-round trip to Godmanchester Rovers.
The draw for the early rounds of the First Division Knockout Cup have also been made and Oakley are away to AFC Sudbury Reserves on September 12.
The winners will be away to Holland FC on October 17.
Elsewhere in the second round, it's Halstead against Braintree Reserves.
