DRAGON Martial Arts School instructors Eileen and Keith Dwan achieved a fantastic result when competing at the first international Tai Chi Softball Championship, in Beijing.
The venue was the Olympic 2008 Stadium and there were over 1,000 competitors.
Eileen, president of the British Union, was pleased to be invited to participate.
As a new discipline, these games were a trial to see the standard of the countries around the world.
Eileen and Keith were entered in the open two-person routine and, after four days of gruelling competition, they achieved second place.
Classes will take place at the McGrigor Hall, in Frinton, at 1.30pm from September 7.
