HARWICH Boxing Club youngster Killian Hardy travelled to St Ives in Cambridgeshire, looking to bounce back after suffering defeat at his club's show the previous week at Colchester.

Standing in his way was Cambridge Police ABC puncher Aidan Gillan.

In a much-improved performance, 17-year-old Hardy was the sharper of the

two, scoring with neat combination punches throughout the contest.

After three two-minute rounds, he would return home with a unanimous points win in the bag.

On the same show, Jack Farrow lost a close points decision to Jaansher Raja, of Peterborough Police.

The duo met in a lively schoolboy contest.

On a busy night for the club, 17-year-old Sam Campbell boxed in East Ham, against Priyash Ariyaratman, from Fairbairn ABC.

After three very tight rounds, the host club boxer nicked a split points decision.
