HARWICH and Parkeston have re-signed their former midfielder Michael Fitzgibbon.
And the one-month loan deal has been made possible by former Shrimpers boss Mark Morsley.
Morsley has offered to make a contribution to the player’s wages, to make sure he fits in with the limited budget at The Royal Oak.
The ex-Harwich boss is now general manager at Needham Market, where Fitzgibbon moved after leaving the Tendring side.
Harwich joint caretaker-manager Tony Armstrong told the Standard: “It’s a very nice and welcome gesture from Mark.
“He’s chipped in to help us out – almost like a personal sponsorship of the player – because he knows the wages issue would have been a stumbling block.
“Hopefully the move will be good news for both Michael and Harwich and Parkeston.
“He hasn’t been getting regular games and that’s why he’s been allowed to come to us.
“And from our point of view, we’ve got a very talented attacking midfielder to help us out for the next month."
