Colchester United manager Tony Humes is set to make a decision on Dan Holman’s immediate future this week.
The striker’s month-long loan at Conference Premier side Wrexham comes to an end after their game at Lincoln City, this weekend.
Holman has struggled to get game time during his spell with the Dragons, where he has managed only 31 minutes of first-team action in six matches.
The 24-year-old had been looking to get some matches under his belt, having hardly featured for Colchester since joining them from Braintree Town, last July.
U’s boss Humes is set to talk to his Wrexham counterpart Kevin Wilkin about whether to extend Holman’s spell at the Racecourse.
