Colchester United are hopeful of a triple injury boost ahead of their important game at Gillingham, this weekend.
The U's are optimistic that three players will be passed fit to be included in their squad for their match at Priestfield Stadium.
Striker Rhys Healey suffered a shin injury in Colchester's 2-0 win over Yeovil Town on Tuesday night but is expected to be available as is Sammie Szmodics (concussion).
And midfielder Tom Lapslie could also be available again after missing Colchester's last five games with an ankle injury picked up in the win over Bristol City, last month.
Colchester boss Tony Humes said: “Rhys just got a knock on the shin in a tackle so hopefully it’s not too bad and he’ll be OK for Saturday and Sammie should be OK, too.
“We couldn’t take a chance with his health and medical advice said that because he was concussed, he wasn’t really fit enough to play at short notice.
“Sammie was devastated - he wants to play in every game and help the club in the situation we’re in.
“But the sensible course of action was taken."
