Jacob Murphy is gearing up for the biggest game of his career.
And the young winger says he and his Colchester United team-mates are ready for one final push to keep the club in League One.
The U’s know they will almost certainly have to beat promotion-chasing Preston North End on Sunday, if they are to have a chance of avoiding relegation.
Tony Humes’ side are a point from safety following their 1-1 draw with Swindon Town on Tuesday night, where Murphy was on target.
And ahead of this weekend’s big televised showdown, the on-loan Norwich City youngster is ready to continue in his quest to keep the U’s up.
Murphy said: “It’s the biggest game of my career so far, without a shadow of a doubt."
