U's to host West Ham United in pre-season friendly
Colchester United will host Premier League side West Ham United in a pre-season friendly next month.
The U's will welcome the Hammers to the Weston Homes Community Stadium on Tuesday, July 21, kick-off 7.45pm.
For Colchester fans, the game could be the first chance for them to sign any potential new signings made by boss Tony Humes this summer.
And Hammers supporters are likely to get a glimpse of the club's new manager, following last month's departure of Sam Allardyce.
