Colchester United goalkeeper Jamie Jones has been shortlisted for the League One player of the month award for September.
The U's shot-stopper, who is on loan from Preston North End, has been in fine form for the club and saved two penalties last month against Gillingham and Sheffield United.
He also helped Colchester keep a clean sheet in their final game of last month, the 2-0 win over Bradford City.
The winners of both awards will be announced on Friday.
