Goals from Tom Eastman and Luke Prosser sealed Colchester United a 2-1 win over promotion-chasing Luton Town, at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
The Hatters pulled a goal back through Danny Hylton's penalty late on but it was not enough to prevent the U's from claiming back-to-back wins, in League Two.
Colchester now lie six points off the play-off places, with six games remaining, ahead of their trip to play Forest Green Rovers, on Monday.
