Harwich and Dovercourt High School had mixed results on the basketball court.
A Year Eight team travelled to Clacton to take on their hosts, Tendring Technology College and Colne Community College. In their first match, Harwich beat Colne 6-4 thanks to with two points apiece from Travis Legge, Ryan Mallows and Harry Windred. The next game saw them lose 6-4 against Tendring. Mallows and Windred scored two baskets each.
But they ended the day on a high note, beating Clacton 8-4 thanks to four points from Mallows and two each from Legge and Windred.
