THE Chase Lane football team came seventh at the County Finals.
The event, hosted at the Colchester United Development Centre, saw 14 of the best teams in Essex take part in a hotly-contested tournament.
Each team represented a district, with Chase Lane representing the Tendring area.
Chase Lane eventually finished seventh in the round robin league competition, only two points off a place in the final four.
The team also earned a well-deserved first place in the skills competition, winning prizes for the children and a coaching programme for the school.
