Duo hold their nerve to claim golf silverware

ALAN Scott and Bernie Henderson held their nerve in a play-off to claim the silverware in the Bill Gray four-ball better-ball competition at Harwich and Dovercourt Golf Club.
The competition had seen two pairs finish with the same score of 38 points and this required a play-off to decide the winners.
The outcome of that showdown saw Scott and Henderson victorious with 33 points, while their opponents, Bryan Austin and John Sims, could only manage 32.
